Adopt an Element!

Here's another display on the noticeboard... this time, something to do with Science - the elements of a Periodic Table.

This could be just project accomplished by a few classes, with clear requirements (i.e. things to cover in the brochure) of the end-product. Of course, it's not just the 'scientific' aspect of the elements, but also linking each to its real world application :D

What I like is, the presentation of the brochures in the form of Periodic Table! By arranging and identifying when it should be (if the teacher has tasked the students to do so), it would have brought the learning to the next level... why are they arranged in that order? what significance? what patterns in terms of its reactivity could we tell from where they are? ....
